Dr. Esther Lightcap Meek is scheduled to speak at Westminster Seminary in Escondido on Oct. 14 at 10 AM. Dr. Meek is a philosophy professor at Geneva College and she is author of the Book "Longing to Know," a book which deals with the question of how we know what we know (or "epistemology"). Her book is "user-friendly" and she seems to be pretty down-to-earth, so I think that it should be a good lecture to hear for most of us.

Nice blog!! I am looking forward to what you have to post in the future! One suggestion - make sure you add a title to your blogs so that they appear in RSS feeds and the like. Right now in they are just showing up as blank spaces.
Concerning your post, Dr. Meek will also be discussing her book in Christian Mind (instead of Dr. Horton asking questions about we will have the author!) and that is open to the public as well. Most likely that will have to be in the Chapel to accommodate a larger crowd since I think a number of people will want to listen in on that.
We are working on what exactly she will be talking about in her convocation lecture.
